The Ash and Soil series is an ongoing experimental body of work using gidgea ash and soil from the artists home property near Longreach on the surface of the pots and in the glazes. The series examines connection to place through the use of local materials. This hand built pot offers a contrast between its refined shape and the roughly textured surface and earthy colours.

NOT functional, sculptural only, NOT food safe, NOT dishwasher safe. There could be some sharp edges on the crackle glazed surface.
